Sorrow

There are a few creepy details to this photo. Most obviously, the crowd of warm, well off tourist pass this unfortunate without so much as a sideward glance. On the other hand, the shocked look of the nun in the background is interesting (maybe she sees something we can't), and is compounded by the prominent devil drawing directly over the beggar. These features among the gothic architecture with the birds overhead is chilling. I also notice that the beggar has prominent highlights haloing his back while the rest of the scene has flat light.
