These miniature ponies are raised by nuns on a monastery farm (yes truly nuns in a monastery) outside of Brenham Texas. On a particularly cold day with harsh blustery winds, this clever pony found an unusual way to keep his ears warm.

Strawberries and a Pink Puppy

After a perfect day picking strawberries with the family, my daughter decided to commemorate the event with a chalk drawing. Getting the dog roll in the pink chalk was a bonus, and her good friend was happy to oblige. Sometime a day just could not get any better.

Back Off !

This possessive grackle has found a rare winter treat, and guards his precious grasshopper in the bare limbed winter forest. He makes eye contact and seems to say "BACK OFF, its my lunch"
