This cheetah was reclining languidly, oblivious to the spectators at the fence of its cage. Suddenly, it seemed to notice the crowd and cleared 50 ft in about 3 swift bounds and attacked the fence.

Life is hard for these young foxes, and many don't survive to maturity; the mother gets frighteningly emaciated while nursing. When I found the den, I occasionally threw out some dog kibble for them. I like to think this little guy was looking over his shoulder to say "thanks". I like how the dappled sunlight backlights the fur and frames the face on this one.
